The Week of February 16th-20th

Spring parent-teacher conferences are scheduled on an as needed basis. These conferences will be held with your child's home room and/or math teacher (different from the fall).
If you want to request a conference with your child's home room and/or math teacher, please let that teacher know by Friday. Once all requests have been received, a conference date/time will be provided.If a phone conference is preferred, please indicate that too.
Conferences will be held the week of March 9th.

Scholastic Book Orders will be sent home Tuesday. They are due back by Friday. Please send in one check payable to Scholastic.

Science: We will continue our study of Forces and Motion (chapter 16).

Social Studies: We will wait to begin chapter 9 in social studies until next week.

Spelling: The new spelling list went home on Friday. Have you seen it yet? If not, please ask your child about it. The test will be on Friday.

Language Arts: Students will be typing their Valentine's Day stories. In addition, they will be able to share them. We will start our study of adjectives next week.

Reading: For the next two weeks, we will be reviewing important concepts in preparation for the ISAT tests. In addition, we will also continue to work on Drawing Conclusions and reading responses.

Math: We will continue our study of Geometry (chapter 20). This is a short chapter. Please look for the test over this chapter to be “next” week.
