Roller skating permission slips went home. They are due by April 17th. Only 175 students will be able to attend. Please get them in right away!
Family Book Club Night is Wednesday, April 29th @ 6:30 p.m. Simply go to the Center Cass 66 District website, click on "Prairieview", and read more about this great school event! You can then print a registration form and send it in. Please note that registration has been extended.
An outline for an “All About Me” paper will be handed out on Monday. This is a “fun” writing assignment that will be displayed at the Spring Open House. This paper is due Tuesday, April 14th.
Science – The invention is due Monday, April 13th. A form will be handed out on Monday, April 6th. This written explanation form is also due on April 13th. The invention and explanation will be on display at the Spring Open House. In addition, we will begin our study of Earth Science (ch. 7).
Social Studies - We will begin our study of the Southwest. The map will go home later in the week. The Southwest Region Map Quiz will be Friday, April 17th. Please remember there is no word bank.
Spelling – We will work on lesson 25 this week. The lesson 25 spelling words went home before break. Have you seen them yet? If not, please ask your child about it. The spelling test this week will be Thursday (no school Friday).
Language Arts – We will be finishing putting our Just Look Books together. They will be on display during the Spring Open House. In addition, we will work on Expository Writing.
Reading -Students will be introduced to Personification and Pourquoi Tales. Next week, they will have a chance to write their own Pourquoi Tale.
Math -We will begin our study of multiplying by two numbers (ch. 10). It is important that your child reviews their multiplication facts. If your child is struggling with their facts, they will have difficulty in this chapter.
