Spring picture packets went home on Friday. Picture packets and/or money are due back by Thursday. Please return them as soon as possible. Thanks!
Science – The chapter 17 test is Friday. Please help your child review for this test. If your child will not be in school Friday, please let me know so that your child can take the test early.
Social Studies - We will be wrapping up our Midwest Region this week by working in our tour booklets.
Spelling – We will work on lesson 24 this week. The lesson 24 spelling test will be Thursday this week (not Friday). Spelling lists for the week after break will go home on Thursday. The spelling test that week will also be on Thursday (no school Friday).
Language Arts – We will have a review over verbs on Wednesday. Please review this at home on Monday or Tuesday. In addition, we will begin to work on our Just Look Books. An outline was handed out on Friday. If you have not seen it yet, please ask your child about it. See below for what is due this week.
Monday - picture is due
Tuesday - Page 1 is due and ready to be typed (parents edit on Monday night)
Wednesday - Page 2 is due and ready to be typed (parents edit on Tuesday night)
Thursday - Page 3 is due and ready to be typed (parents edit on Wednesday night)
Reading -Students will work on different reading strategies while reading the novel, A Family Apart. Please ask your child about the story later in the week.
Math -Our chapter 21 math test over Solid Figures will be Wednesday. There is a lot of vocabulary to know. Please review this at home. Students should be reviewing their multiplication and division facts. We will be getting into multiplying by two digit numbers and long division after break.
