Prairieview is having a food drive to collect food for the Woodridge Pantry. Non-perishable donations can be brought in through the 24th. Any items would be appreciated!
Tuesday marks the mid point of the trimester. If you haven't checked grades on line in awhile, please do so. There is still time to bring up grades!
A permission slip to the Robert Crown Center will go home on Monday. Please sign and return it this week.
Thursday, April 23rd, is Take Your Child to Work Day. If you plan on taking your child to work, please let me know ahead of time.
Science – We will continue our study of Earth Science (ch. 7). We will talk about the Rock Cycle (lesson 2). There will be a quiz over the rock cycle on Friday. Please review the sheet later in the week. There will be no word bank.
Social Studies - We will continue our study of the Southwest (ch. 10). The Ch. 10 Southwest test will be Wednesday, April 29th. Please help your child review for the test.
Spelling – We will work on lesson 29 this week. Due to the Early Dismissal on Friday, the spelling test will be on Thursday.
Language Arts – We will continue our study of pronouns (ch. 6). Possessive pronouns is a challenging area. Please review this with your child. The chapter 6 test will be Tuesday, April 28th.
Reading -We will begin our study of poetry. Each child should bring in a poetry book by Wednesday to use for the next two weeks.
Math -The chapter 10 test will be Thursday. It is important that your child knows their facts. Please review this at home as well as three digit times two digit multiplication.
