Students receive pictures at the end of the year for their memory book. If any parent is willing to develop a roll of film for this cause, please let me know. Thanks!
Science – We began our study of landforms (chapter 8). The class will learn about nine different ones. Can your child describe them?
Social Studies - The chapter 11 test will be on Friday. This will be the last formal test in social studies for the year. Please help your child review for this test.
Spelling – We will work on lesson 33 this week. The spelling test will be on Friday. The list will go home on Monday. Next week will be the last spelling test. The list for next week will go home Friday. Please look for it.
Language Arts – The last English test for the year will be on Tuesday. Adverbs (chapter 7) can be a challenging area for some students. Please help your child review for the test.
Reading – We will finish the year with an author study of Chris Van Allsburg. The first story will will read is The Stranger. We will be reviewing different strategies as we work with this story.
Math -The class will continue to work on fractions (chapter 15). This can be a challenging area for some students. Please review the information daily if possible. The last test for math will be May 28th. Please help your child review for this test.
