Cushing's Corner - 2021

 

Students are loving the weather!  We have been so fortunate to be outside most of the year so far.  Students are currently in a kickball unit.  They are learning to work together for the success of their team.  In addition, I am hearing a lot of positive praise towards one another.  Please ask your child how the kickball unit is going.

As we approach the midpoint of our third trimester, I want to remind everyone that we are outside any time we can.  Please make sure your child has gym shoes.  This is especially important when we are inside!  Dress for the weather!  We are getting as active as we can, while following all of the guidelines.  The students have done very well with this!  Although PE has looked different this year, we have concentrated on movement and making the most of each class.  It will be a great rest of the year!

Happy New Year!  I can't wait to have the students back in school next week!  Please know that PE will be outside, weather permitting.  If it is above 20 degrees, we are going out.  Please be prepared with warm clothing!
